Rizzo Winery's Viognier
Rizzo Winery sits atop its vineyards in the windy Eola-Amity Hills, a smaller region of the larger, very well known Willamette Valley. Oregon’s famed wine region is mostly known for its relationship with the Pinot Noir grape. A generally quite fussy grape that excels in Oregon’s cooler climate. Not only does Rizzo Winery farm quite a few acres of Pinot Noir, but it also has Viognier planted as well. A white grape that is often blended with Syrah, Viognier is floral, crisp and delicious.
